Milwaukee Police Investigate Separate Shooting Incidents on Same Night

Incident 1
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday, October 10, 2026, at approximately 9:40 p.m., in the 1900 block of N. 39th Street. The victim, a 17-year-old, sustained injuries from a gunshot and died on scene. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police arrested a 14-year-old suspect related to this offense.

Incident 2
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred Saturday, October 10, 2026, at approximately 11:50 p.m., in the 2700 block of W Oklahoma Ave . The victim, a 40-year-old, sustained an injury from a gunshot and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police arrested a 26-year-old suspect related to this offense.
