MILWAUKEE; April 24, 2023Milwaukee PBS introduces a new local music digital-first series called Rhythm Cafe MKE. The series showcases the city’s most talented artists. The station records the series from one of the city’s great venues, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co., in the heart of the Walker’s Point neighborhood. Each episode features exclusive, original, up-close and personal performances and profiles in which artists reveal the inspiration and influences behind their music. Rhythm Cafe MKE features an array of soundscapes from rock, jazz, hip-hop, soul and everything in between.

Series producers Darin Malkowski and Justin Migliano thought Milwaukee PBS was the perfect place for the series. “Music and arts are at the soul of PBS, “said Malkowski. “Milwaukee has a great music scene full of artists to showcase original songs written and created by them.”

New sessions drop on Mondays and Thursdays. On Mondays the series introduces a featured artist and on Thursdays viewers get to see the featured artist perform. The first featured artists include Jacob Slade and Ty Wilder.

Viewers can watch the new digital local music series at milwaukeepbs.org, with the Milwaukee PBS App, rhythmcafemke.com and YouTube.
