Milwaukee PBS Hires Chief Development Officer
MILWAUKEE; January 4, 2022 – Milwaukee PBS announced today that Dan Mueller has been hired as the new Chief Development Officer. Mueller will oversee Milwaukee PBS’ fundraising activities including fundraising programming and events, as well as member services and benefits. Member benefits include the popular program streaming app called PBS Passport.
Mueller’s previous posts included Marquette University where he served as Director of Alumni Relations and Vivent Health (formerly the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin), where he oversaw all private revenue fundraising as Chief Development Officer. While at Vivent, Mueller led the transformation of a statewide fundraising operation into a national fundraising office.
Mueller’s southeastern Wisconsin professional peers honored him with the Scott M. Cutlip Professional Fundraising Award in 2017. The award honors one professional fundraiser from the area annually who distinguishes themselves through their profession.
“I’m eager to begin my work at Milwaukee PBS,” Mueller said. “I believe that my experience and skillset will make an important difference.”
Mueller is married to his wife Pam, an educator at Dominican High School. They have two daughters, Elizabeth, an administrative manager for the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and Sophie, an innovation community builder in Midtown, Inc. in Cleveland, OH.
Dan will start his new position on January 24.
