Milwaukee PBS announced a new addition to its Development department in late 2019. Rob Seligmann joined Milwaukee PBS as its Director of Corporate Relations, and will work with the business community in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois to secure underwriting support to strengthen public television in the region.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the Milwaukee PBS family, said Seligmann. “I look forward to working with the business community in supporting our excellent local and national programs.”

Seligmann’s goal is to enhance Milwaukee PBS’ relationships with its existing funders, as well as to connect new businesses to sponsorship opportunities that will complement their own organization’s mission.  Seligmann will also work with Milwaukee PBS’ business partners to promote their commitment to public television to their customers and community, and communicate the value their organization places on public television’s role in our community.

“We’re delighted to have Rob join the Milwaukee PBS team. I know our business partners are going to appreciate his expertise and enjoy working with him,” said Jonathan Lord, Chief Development Officer at Milwaukee PBS. “He’s eager to continue expanding our circle of community partners who value the power and possibilities of public media.”

Seligmann comes to Milwaukee PBS with an extensive background in public media, including roles with KUNC, the National Public Radio affiliate in Northern Colorado, as well as Rocky Mountain PBS in Denver. Seligmann will remain a distinguished voice in the Denver community, as he continues to host his radio show on the community-supported jazz station, KUVO, in Denver.
