Milwaukee Millwork exec wins Spirit of Volunteerism award
Greg Adamec honored by the Milwaukee/NARI Foundation
The Milwaukee/NARI Foundation, Inc., the educational and charitable arm of Milwaukee/NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry), has given its Spirit of Volunteerism award to Greg Adamec, general manager of Milwaukee Millwork.
Tom Callen, Milwaukee/NARI Foundation president, recognized Adamec for his involvement in the Foundation for nearly a decade. “During his tenure as a board member and an officer, including five years as President, Greg always offered to provide the needed assistance,” Callen said. “Whether it was participation in Foundation events like the golf outing and clay shoot, donation of the location, materials, and staff assistance for the Rummage Sale, or contributing product to community projects, he is always willing to do more than his fair share.”
Adamec has also been active in the chapter, serving on the board of directors and the Executive Committee, including his current role as association president. In addition, he serves as a board member for NARI National and has participated in NARI National committees and the twice-yearly business meetings. “Greg is also dedicated to NARI’s growth, being one of the leaders of the recently developed Workforce Development committee,” Callen said.
