Milwaukee (Oct. 3, 2017) – Stella Van Buren, the modern Italian restaurant in downtown Milwaukee, has officially launched brunch service. Stella’s menu brings an inventive twist to Milwaukee’s favorite weekly meal with an emphasis on house-made pastries and creative breakfast pastas to classic eggs benedict and knife and fork bruschettas.

Highlights include fresh juices like the Ginger Sunrise with carrot, golden beet, orange, ginger and turmeric juices, and Avocado Bruschetta with lemon, extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts and a poached egg. From savory to sweet, the menu offers a range of options from the Stella Italian Chopped, a salad with crispy prosciutto, genoa salami and giardiniera, to a decadent Pecan Praline French Toast, topped with Buffalo Trace bourbon maple syrup and vanilla whipped cream.

Heartier plates include Usinger’s Italian Sausage Hash with roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions, vodka cream marinara, smoked mozzarella and a sunny-side up egg, as well as Country Style Chicken Parmesan with smoked mozzarella, Italian sausage gravy and a fried egg. In keeping with Stella’s tradition of house-made pasta, guests will find Cacio e Pepe Spaghetti with pecorino, parmesan, toasted black pepper and a poached egg. Brunch of course also includes Stella’s famous Zeppoles with creamy Nutella hazelnut spread.

No brunch is complete without a selection of must-have cocktails, and Stella’s mixologists have created a specialty Bloody Mary and the Cello-mosa, along with the Italian Paloma and a handful of other brunch-perfect flavors.

Brunch at Stella Van Buren, 550 N. Van Buren St., is an all-day affair, served 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Valet parking is complimentary at Stella Van Buren. Reservations are recommended though not required. Learn more at www.stellavanburen.com/brunch.
