Milwaukee Irish Fest Gives First Look at Highly Anticipated 2022 Festival

Announcement includes BOGO ticket promotion and the return of Thursday preview night

MILWAUKEE (March 14, 2022) – St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and the weather is slowly starting to warm up, so it’s natural to start getting excited about all things Irish. That includes Milwaukee Irish Fest, which returns to the Henry Maier Festival Park from August 18-21 for its 41st celebration of music and culture. To add to the anticipation, Milwaukee Irish Fest is providing a sneak peek of the festival, including some of the confirmed entertainment acts along with a new ticket promotion.

From now until March 18, Milwaukee Irish Fest will be running a special “BOGO” ticket offer. If you buy one general admission ticket at full price ($23), you’ll get one free. This promotion is only available online, and you can get more details at irishfest.com/tickets.

Milwaukee Irish Fest is also unveiling a first look at some of the many entertainment acts that will perform at the Henry Maier Festival Park this summer. The much anticipated, genre-spanning list includes:

“We spend a whole year planning each Milwaukee Irish Fest celebration, and we’re thrilled to finally shine a spotlight on what our guests can expect this year,” said Mike Mitchell, executive director of CelticMKE, the organizer of Milwaukee Irish Fest. “Once again, we’ll have world-class entertainment from a wide variety of genres, great food, sports, cultural activities, and fun for the whole family.”

The 2022 festival also signals the return of the “Grand Hooley” Thursday night preview, with parts of the festival grounds open to help kick off the weekend. The festival will conclude on Sunday with the traditional “Scattering” event, where dozens of entertainment acts will convene on one stage as a send-off to next year.
