Milwaukee Children’s Choir Presents Eighth Annual Singathon
Have our choristers serenade your valentine with their signature singing valentines
Milwaukee– Love is in the air once more as the Milwaukee Children’s Choir thaws frozen hearts with their annual Singathon. Now in its eighth year, the all-day event will take place Saturday, February 13th at the Bayshore Town Center Rotunda in Glendale, WI.
The Singathon is a free, Valentine’s themed community concert and fundraiser that features all of MCC’s performing choirs and more than a dozen soloists. This heart-warming 7-hour musical marathon will entertain the come-and-go crowd with choir performances and singing valentines. Audience members are given the opportunity to purchase singing valentines on the spot. Performances will begin at 10 a.m. at 5800 Bayshore Drive and will run until 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend!
“The Singathon is an opportunity for the general public to enjoy listening to the children in a non-traditional setting,” says Artistic Director Marco Melendez. “It features music that is more lighthearted and showcases the choirs’ energetic and jubilant spirit.”
Now celebrating its 22nd season, Milwaukee Children’s Choir is dedicated to educating singers from Southeastern Wisconsin in choral technique and music theory. Milwaukee Children’s Choir serves children from K4 through 12thgrades.
