Milwaukee Bucks Sign Bogoljub Marković to a Multi-Year Contract
MILWAUKEE (July 1, 2026) – The Milwaukee Bucks have signed forward Bogoljub Marković (BO-go-loob MAR-koh-vitch) to a multi-year contract.
The 47th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Markovic started in all 29 games last season with Mega Basket in Serbia’s Adriatic League (ABA), and was named ABA League MVP after averaging 18.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 blocked shot in 31.8 minutes per game. He earned ABA Top Prospect honors for the second consecutive season and was named to the ABA Top 5 team.
Marković (6-11, 220-pounds) played in 30 games (29 starts) in his first season with Mega Basket, averaging 13.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 28.9 minutes per game while shooting 53.8% from the field. In his first full ABA season, Markovic was named the 2024-25 Adriatic Basketball Association Best Young Player and received ABA Player of the Month honors two times.
The Uzice, Serbia, native debuted with the Serbian Senior National Team in November 2024 for the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Qualifiers, where he saw action in two contests. He previously played in the 2023 FIBA U18 EuroBasket, winning a gold medal with Serbia.
Prior to joining Mega Basket, Marković appeared in 28 games (23 starts) with OKK Beograd in Serbia’s KLS during the 2023-24 season. He also participated in Basketball Without Borders (BWB) camps in 2022 and 2023, including the BWB Global Camp at 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend.
