Milwaukee Bucks Acquire Kevin Porter Jr.
Forward MarJon Beauchamp sent to LA Clippers
MILWAUKEE (Feb. 7, 2025) – The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired guard/forward Kevin Porter Jr. from the LA Clippers in exchange for forward MarJon Beauchamp.
In 241 career games (148 starts) in five seasons with the Clippers (2024-25), Rockets (2020-23) and Cavaliers (2019-20), the 6-foot-4 Porter Jr. has averaged 14.2 points, 4.7 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 28.3 minutes per game. Prior to signing with the Clippers, he played for the Greek club PAOK during the 2023-24 season, where he posted 22.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 2.8 steals in 38.0 minutes per game. From the 2020-21 to 2022-23 seasons, he was one of only eight NBA players to record at least 15.0 points, 6.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 steal and two three-pointers per game. A Seattle native and USC product, Porter Jr. was drafted by Milwaukee with the No. 30 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.Beauchamp, who was in his third season with Milwaukee, was drafted by the Bucks with the 24th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. In 126 career games (12 starts), he logged 4.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game.
