Lunchtime Concerts Return to Downtown Milwaukee This Week
Heart(beats) of the City powered by MGIC and PNC presents Tunes@Noon bring fresh beats and bites to downtown public spaces
MILWAUKEE – In the spirit of bringing the community together, Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21 will once again host two popular lunchtime summer concert series. Heart(beats) of the City powered by MGIC and PNC presents Tunes@Noon will kick off the first week of June and run through the end of August, activating downtown public spaces with live music and local food.
Heart(beats) of the City powered by MGIC will take place every Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., June 3 through August 26 (except August 19), at Red Arrow Park. The lunchtime series will feature local and regional musicians, plus an ever-changing lineup of food truck vendors.
“As part of our commitment to community engagement, MGIC is proud to support Heart(beats) of the City during its fifth season at Red Arrow Park,” said Annette Adams, SVP, chief human resources officer of MGIC. “The midweek series creates opportunities for coworkers and neighbors to connect through music and food, making it a beloved event in one of Downtown’s central gathering spaces.”
Just a few blocks away, PNC presents Tunes@Noon will bring energy to Thursday lunch hours at the Courtyard of 411 East Wisconsin Center, home of PNC’s regional headquarters. The concerts will take place every Thursday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., June 4 through August 27, featuring an eclectic mix of local and regional artists. Guests can also purchase food items from Davians and other vendors throughout the season.
“Tunes@Noon has become a summertime tradition in Downtown Milwaukee, and PNC is proud to have supported its growth and success over the past eight seasons,” said Chris Hermann, PNC regional president of Wisconsin. “This series reflects our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve by creating opportunities for people to connect, support local talent and enjoy the vibrancy of downtown.”
