Lowlands Group announces 2018 Bierklasse lineup
Interactive and experiential tasting events feature exclusive biers from around the world

Milwaukee, WI – March 27, 2018 – Lowlands Group announced their lineup of popular monthly Bierklasses for 2018, appealing to bier lovers and novices alike. Each class follows a special theme and provides a different experience for Bierklasse participants.
Hosted in unique settings at various Lowlands locations, such as restaurant patios, rooftop decks or private dining rooms, the Bierklasses feature a selection of exclusive biers from all over the world, many of which can only be found in this region at a Lowlands Group restaurant.
Starting with the history of how the biers came to be, a knowledgeable bier trainer from Lowlands Group and special guests from various breweries guide participants through the tastings and flavors, answering questions and sharing interesting facts along the way. Attendees are encouraged to participate and engage with the experts, sometimes through games and interactive activities—an aspect distinct to Lowlands Group Bierklasses.

It’s a Trap(pist!) – May 4, 7 p.m. at Café Hollander – Tosa
Biers of the World (Cup!) – June 14, 7 p.m. at Café Bavaria
*With special guest Jon Davidson from St. Killian Importing.
A Midsummer Night’s Bier Tasting – July 18, 8 p.m. at Café Hollander – Brookfield
Talk Like a Piraat – September 19, 7 p.m. at Café Centraal
*With special guest Ed Kane from Global Beer.
Trick or Treat – October 24, 7 p.m. at Café Hollander – Tosa
Holiday Rarities – December 19, 7 p.m. at Café Hollander – Downer
Holiday Rarities – December 20, 7 p.m. at Café Hollander – Hilldale
The next Bierklasse, ‘Tis the Saison, will trace the historical origins of saisons, a popular and often misunderstood Belgian style. This tasting will celebrate the release of the Lowlands Brewing Collaborative Seasonal Saison Series Spring 18’ release, and feature special guest speakers Danny and John McMahon, founders of Door County Brewing Company and Hacienda Brewing.
Lowlands Group also offers private Bierklasses, which can be customized for birthday celebrations, bachelor/bachelorette parties and other special events.
