Light the Hoan Pop Up Retail Store Opens
Store will be open 12/11 and 12/12, Noon to 5pm
MILWAUKEE – Light the Hoan is launching a retail pop-up store for the holiday season. The pop-up retail store is located at 415 E. Menomonee St., in the Third Ward, and will be open Saturday and Sunday, December 11 and 12, from Noon to 5pm. Please note that the shop is a cashless operation – cards only, please.
The store will sell a variety of Light the Hoan branded merchandise, including apparel. A complete list of available merchandise can be found at http://store.lightthehoan.com, where online orders can also be placed.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit Light the Hoan’s community efforts (e.g. Code the Hoan – a STEAM-based learning program for 5th through 12th graders using the bridge lights as a teaching tool) and to help fund lighting the east side of the Hoan Bridge, an effort expected to cost approximately $1.4M.
“We’re excited to offer this opportunity to give the gift of the Hoan Bridge for the holidays. It’s another example of how we’re making Light the Hoan about more than lights on a bridge,” said Melissa Kuykendall, Light the Hoan Brand Manager.
ABOUT LIGHT THE HOAN:
A collective of local business and civic leaders, Light the Hoan, Inc. launched a public crowdsourcing campaign in May of 2018 to help raise more than $3.5 million to illuminate the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge, the iconic tied-arch bridge spanning nearly two miles across Interstate 794.
