MILWAUKEE (January 13th, 2020) – What started out as a somewhat absurd idea has turned into a tradition at Lakefront Brewery. With a proper marriage license, two people ready to make the ultimate commitment can do so for free with a beer in hand on Valentine’s Day. Brewery tour guides with the proper ordination prepare a lovely, quaint, yet professional ceremony for those interested in tying the knot. While they offer the ceremonies for free, couples can upgrade to the following packages that can enrich the experience further.

The Pint Package: You will be married by one of our practiced, ordained tour guide officiants, with a beer in hand that comes in a personally etched pint glass with your names and the date. Follow up the ceremony with a dessert from our kitchen, and each walk out with an exclusive t-shirt from our gift shop! (Cost – $50)

The Pitcher Package: You will be married by one of our practiced, ordained tour guide officiants, with a beer in hand that comes in a personally etched pint glass with your names and the date. Follow up the ceremony with a dessert as well as your choice of Cheese Curds or Soft Pretzels. A unique flower bouquet will be provided for the bride, and each of you will walk out with exclusive wedding t-shirts! (Cost – $150)

The Growler Package: You will be married by one of our practiced, ordained tour guide officiants, with a beer in hand that comes in a personally etched pint glass with your names and the date. Follow up the ceremony with a Mini Wedding Cake as well as your choice of Cheese Curds or Soft Pretzels. A unique flower bouquet will be provided for the bride as well as a boutineer for the groom. Your entire experience getting married at Lakefront Brewery will be documented by a professional photographer so you can relive the experience for years to come. You’ll go home with two exclusive wedding t-shirts as well! (Cost – $350)

“People go on their first date here, have their wedding reception, get engaged on our brewery tour, and take their engagement or wedding photos. We just feel the love that can emanate from this place, so we want to celebrate it”, says Tour Manager, Sam Szymborski, “There isn’t a better day to do it.”

“Maybe one of these years we can overtake the courthouse. I could be wrong, but I don’t think they offer a free beer over there” says brewery On-site Business Developer, Dylan Mazurkiewicz.

While actual wedding ceremonies should be booked ahead of time, those interested in the mass vow renewals may show up ahead of the scheduled 12pm or 6pm time slots and simply let an employee know. Couples will renew their vows with a free beer in hand.
