Lakefront Brewery Achieves Certified B Corporation® Certification

MILWAUKEE (April 22, 2020) – On Earth Day, 2020, Lakefront Brewery announces their achievement of becoming a Certified B Corporation^®. Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

“This is a level of ethical, environmental and social responsibility that we’ve been working on for quite some time,” says Lakefront Brewery Co-Founder and President, Russ Klisch. “The scoring system of B Lab, the governing body, is extremely thorough. We couldn’t be more proud of our staff and practices.”

Lakefront is the very first brewery in Wisconsin, and the 22^nd brewery in the world, to receive Certified B Corporation status.
