Jonathan Brostoff Makes Fair Campaign Pledge
Jonathan Brostoff, candidate for Wisconsin’s 19th Assembly District, pledged today to run a clean and fair campaign as the election moves forward.
“I pledge to run a fair and clean campaign,” Brostoff said. “I will conduct my campaign openly, honestly, and fairly. I will not engage in personal attacks on my opponents and I will not use any campaign material that misrepresents or distorts the facts regarding them.”
“I made this pledge today” Brostoff continued, “because the people of the 19th District deserve a positive campaign and the opportunity to choose their representative on an equal playing field, to vote for a candidate based on how well that candidate will represent them.”
“The stakes are high for the people of this district and this state. We need a representative who will be and effective and can find common ground to help pass positive legislation that will restore funding to our public schools and restore a woman’s right to make her own health decisions.”
Brostoff sent the pledge to the other candidates and urged them to join in pledging to run clean and fair campaigns.
“I hope that each of my opponents will join me in dedicating themselves to a clean campaign. I have no reservations in making this race about who will be the most effective in creating positive, progressive policy that improves the lives of the people in Milwaukee and across Wisconsin. I look forward to a healthy and positive campaign.”
