Join the 3rd Annual Interfaith Neighborhood Clean-Up this Saturday

Alderman Scott Spiker invites area residents to join fellow neighbors on Saturday, September 9 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. for the 3^rd Annual Interfaith Neighborhood Clean-Up, sponsored by Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, JustServe, the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Salam School.

Volunteers looking to participate in the clean-up should meet at 4707 S. 13^th St. (the Islamic Center of Milwaukee) at 9 a.m. All clean-up supplies will be provided.

“Clean neighborhoods are safe neighborhoods, and often lead to a greater sense of community pride and involvement. I want to thank the organizers of this event for their efforts, and would encourage all area neighbors to come out and participate in the beautification effort this weekend,” Alderman Spiker said.
