Jennifer Sereno Joins WHEDA as Public Affairs Program Manager

Her experience includes marketing and public affairs campaign development, digital media strategy, issue management and brand advancement.

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) announced that Jennifer Sereno has been named public affairs program manager. In this role, Sereno serves as WHEDA’s primary point of contact for the news media, plans strategic communication and public affairs outreach and works to connect new and existing audiences with WHEDA’s mission, goals and financing products.

With previous public service as strategic communications manager for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and communications and public affairs manager for the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District, she also brings more than a decade of newsroom management to the role including work as a business editor at the Wisconsin State Journal. Her experience includes marketing and public affairs campaign development, digital media strategy, issue management and brand advancement.
