Homicide Suspect in Critical Missing Case Found Deceased from Apparent Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Police Department continues to ask for the public’s help in locating a critical missing 3-year-old, Major P. Harris. Major is the son of a homicide victim who was found deceased near North 37th Street and West Clarke Street. The Milwaukee Police Department, as well as numerous local, state and federal agencies, have been actively searching for both Major and the homicide suspect.
On Sunday, October 17, 2021, at approximately 4:01 p.m., Milwaukee Police Department officers approached a house on the 5400 block of North 31st Street that was believed to contain the homicide suspect. Approximately fifteen minutes after officers arrived at that house, at least two gunshots were fired that are believed to have been initiated from within the house. At approximately 5:01 p.m., Milwaukee Police Department officers made entry into the house and located the homicide suspect with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Shortly thereafter, the homicide suspect was pronounced deceased. No law enforcement officer discharged a firearm at any time during the incident.
