Hanson Dodge Named Agency of Record by VISIT Milwaukee After Competitive Review

The scope of work will include brand consulting, advertising, and content strategy and creation.

MILWAUKEE – (January 11, 2019) VISIT Milwaukee, the destination marketing organization for Wisconsin’s largest tourism market, has named Hanson Dodge (HD) its agency of record, following a thorough review of agencies from across the country.

“Hanson Dodge has a reputation for outstanding work in branding, creative and digital integration,” said Megan Suardini, VISIT Milwaukee’s vice president of marketing & communications. “We’re confident that Hanson Dodge will create unique and inspiring campaigns that truly elevate perceptions of and interest in Milwaukee.”

The scope of work will include brand consulting, advertising, and content strategy and creation.

“We’re thrilled to leverage our history with other destination marketing clients on behalf of VISIT Milwaukee as we enter into a strategic, integrated partnership with the organization,” said HD President Stacie Boney. “We’re looking forward to drawing upon our talents across branding, marketing, technology and digital commerce to promote a community that we love.”

Hanson Dodge already has helped boost interest in Milwaukee due to its redesign of the VISIT Milwaukee website, which earned three international W3 awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an international Dot.com Award, an international MarCom award, and an ESTO Destiny Award from the U.S. Travel Association. The redesigned website launched in March of 2018. The new contract between HD and VISIT Milwaukee began in 2019 and is subject to yearly review.
