Social Justice Initiative is Primed to Make an Impact

Background: October 25 at 6pm, JoAnne and Melissa will officially open the doors to Freedom Endeavors with a performance by Mumu Fresh a grammy nominated singer who has toured with the likes of the Roots, Common, and Jill Scott. Tickets required. https://freedomendeavors.eventbrite.com. Freedom Endeavors is a space created to advance a pathway towards the actualization of a collective community transformation and economic liberation. The vibrant and artistically designed space is located at 2237 N Vel R Phillips Ave/4th Street (1st floor of The Griot). The space is located next to the soon to open America’s Black Holocaust Museum .

The building is not only owned by Melissa Goins she is now partnering with JoAnne to create a space for curated art events, shared office space , and community gatherings. Freedom Endeavors will be a think tank for all looking to find joy in the work that advances the well-being of the collective. It’s time for the Central City of Milwaukee to have more beautiful spaces for all Milwaukee’s. The Kick off will be the first of many opportunities to commune at the Freedom Endeavors space. The powerful team has many more ventures to come!

The Focus : In their first joint venture, the team is opening an intimate community hub that will provided free and rentable create space for community members, corporations, and non profits looking to have to advance work in the community. Join them as they share joy and possibility through out the Milwaukee area with another gift to all who live work and serve here.
