Gov. Evers Seeks Applicants for Washington County Circuit Court

MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers announced today that he is seeking applicants for the Washington County Circuit Court–Branch 1. The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by Judge James G. Pouros’ resignation, effective June 3, 2022. The new judge will complete a term ending July 31, 2023.

To apply, please email a completed application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thurs., March 24, 2022.

Applicants who applied for the recent Washington County Circuit Court–Branch 3 vacancy need not reapply. Their applications will be considered alongside any additional applications that are received.

For new applicants, the application can be found on the “Apply to Serve” page on Gov. Evers’ website at: www.evers.wi.gov.
