Gov. Evers Seeks Applicants for Monroe County Circuit Court
MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers announced today that he is seeking applicants for the Monroe County Circuit Court – Branches 1 and 2. The appointments will fill vacancies being created by Judge Todd Ziegler’s appointment to the Court of Appeals – District IV, as well as Judge Mark L. Goodman’s retirement, effective Dec. 5, 2026. The new judges will complete terms ending July 31, 2027, and July 31, 2028, respectively.
To apply, please email a completed application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Mon., Aug. 17, 2026. The application can be found on the “Apply to Serve” page on Gov. Evers’ website at: www.evers.wi.gov.
Applications need not specify the specific branch for which they are applying; applicants will be considered for both vacancies.
