Gov. Evers Seeks Applicants for Court of Appeals—District I

The new judge will complete a term ending July 31, 2021.

MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers announced today that he is seeking applicants for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals – District I.

The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by Judge Joan Kessler’s retirement, effective February 7, 2020. The new judge will complete a term ending July 31, 2021.

District I consists solely of Milwaukee County.

To apply, please email a completed application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov. Applications must be received by 5 pm on November 13, 2019.

The application form is available on the “Apply to Serve” page of the Governor’s website: www.evers.wi.gov.
