Kwik Trip: “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY”
MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today proclaimed June 16, 2025, as “Kwik Trip Day” across the state of Wisconsin to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Wisconsin-based and founded franchise. A copy of the governor’s “Kwik Trip Day” proclamation is available here. Kwik Trip celebrated the occasion this morning, announcing, “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Whether it’s their high-quality fuel, ready-to-eat food, iconic Glazers Donuts, or one of my favorites, the Blueberry Dunker Donuts, Kwik Trip is a staple for Wisconsinites and folks across the Midwest,” said Gov. Evers. “Since its founding, Kwik Trip has set the standard for world-class customer service, and I’m glad to be able to help celebrate this Wisconsin institution. Happy birthday, Kwik Trip! And here’s to many more years of service and success.”
Kwik Trip proudly sources a majority of its products, operating its own bakery, dairy, kitchens, food-safety lab, distribution center, LP plant, blow mold facility, transportation company, health clinic, and more. As a result of the company’s commitment to a vertical distribution model, 80 percent of products sold at Kwik Trip stores are Kwik Trip Inc.’s own branded products that are made, shipped, and sold by the company. One of Kwik Trip’s most notable and highly loved products is their iconic Glazers Donuts, which were introduced to the delight of Kwik Trip patrons in 2003.
In addition to serving high-quality products, Kwik Trip continues to have a focus on serving the community through various sponsorships, programs, and donations, including support for local food banks, domestic violence shelters and outreach centers, local fire, EMS, and police departments, and more. Through their fundraising card program, the company reports having helped raise over $50 million for various nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Kwik Trip has been a partner in the state’s work to build a cleaner, more sustainable future by expanding access to electric vehicle charging stations for travelers.
