Gov. Evers Continues to Seek Applicants for Oconto County District Attorney
MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers previously announced on March 25, 2026, that he is seeking applicants for Oconto County District Attorney. The governor announced today that he is accepting applications on a rolling basis until the vacancy is filled.
The appointment will fill a vacancy created by former District Attorney Hannah Schuchart’s appointment to the Oconto County Circuit Court. The new district attorney will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2029.
