Gov. Evers Appoints Pamela Feustel as Ashland County Coroner
MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today appointed Pamela Feustel to serve as the next Ashland County Coroner. The appointment fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Barbara Beeksma, effective May 3, 2025. Feustel will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends on Jan. 5, 2027.
“With her years of experience, including the past eight years as the chief deputy coroner, Pamela Feustel has shown significant commitment to serving her community,” said Gov. Evers. “She will be an effective coroner for Ashland County.”
“I am truly honored to accept the appointment of Ashland County Coroner by Governor Tony Evers. It is a privilege to be entrusted with this important role. I am deeply grateful for the years I spent working as chief deputy coroner alongside Barb Beeksma, whose leadership set a high standard. Her guidance has been invaluable, and I am committed to carrying that legacy forward with humility and dedication to our community,” said Feustel. “I am thankful for the trust placed in me and look forward to continuing to serve the people of Ashland County.”
