Forbes Playing for Team Canada at FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in Vienna

VIENNA, Austria – Marquette University women’s basketball junior forward Skylar Forbes is representing Team Canada in this week’s FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in Vienna, Austria.
Forbes is representing Team Canada for the first time since the summer of 2022 at the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship. Canada finished runner-up at the event after falling to to Team USA in the championship game. Forbes averaged 19 minutes, 5.3 points, and 5.2 rebounds per game in five games
The Markham, Ontario native averaged a team-high 15.8 points per game in 2024-25 and was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team, becoming the ninth sophomore in program history to be named first team all-conference.Team Canada begins play on Thursday, June 12 at 11:25 a.m. CT against Team Ireland.
