Fitzgerald Slams President Biden’s Plan to Payout $1 Billion to Illegal Immigrants
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) released the following statement after the Wall Street Journal exposed the Biden Administration’s plan to handout as much as $1 billion to illegal immigrants.
“It pays to be an illegal immigrant in America. President Biden’s latest plan to throw $1 billion at illegal immigrants begs the question, what don’t Democrats want to throw free money at? Of course, the free money is funded by taxpayers,” said Congressman Fitzgerald. “I’m absolutely appalled at this plan, it’s complete insanity that this Administration wants to reward individuals who broke our laws with a billion-dollar payout. This is a slap in the face to hardworking families in Wisconsin and will only further incentivize more migrant surges at the border.”
