Fitzgerald Selected to Serve on Key Subcommittees on House Financial Services Committee

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) has been selected to serve on the House Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy as well as the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance.

The Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy is responsible for overseeing our financial regulators, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Federal Reserve and its 12 reserve banks, in addition to identifying policies that grow and stabilize the financial system and broader economy.

The Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance is responsible for overseeing the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Federal Housing Finance Agency, as well as developing policies to increase housing supply and maintaining robust insurance protections for consumers.
