Fitzgerald Reacts to Victory in 7th Circuit Elections Case
[Madison, WI] — Late this afternoon, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals released its decision in a long-awaited case dealing with Wisconsin’s elections laws. Following the favorable ruling, Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald released the following statement:
“This is a win for fair elections. The ruling puts municipalities in every corner of Wisconsin closer to equal footing when it comes to early in-person voting. I applaud the 7th Circuit on its decision and look forward to moving on with this Fall’s elections.”
Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) represents the 13th Senate District, which covers portions of Dodge, Jefferson, Waukesha, Washington, Dane, and Columbia counties.
