Epic Joins Wisconsin LGBT Chamber as Newest Gold Member
MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce announced today that Epic has joined the organization as its newest gold member.

We look forward to building a long-lasting partnership that will support their employees and customers, as well as the community at large.”
Founded in a basement in 1979 with 1½ employees, Epic develops software to help people get well, help people stay well, and help future generations be healthier. Headquartered in Verona, Epic has an active LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group which supports and welcomes LGBTQIA+ employees through resource-sharing, open and welcoming events, discussions, education for all employees, and projects that work to better the workplace for all LGBTQIA+ people. In addition, Epic encourages and promotes equitable opportunities for small businesses and sources many of their products locally. Their Supplier Diversity review group aims to connect with minority-, women-, LGBTQIA+-, disability-, and veteran-owned businesses, to source high quality products while participating in the growth of our communities.
Epic joins more than 40 other corporations as a gold member of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber. Gold members receive a number of Chamber membership benefits, including a seat on the Chamber’s Leadership Advisory Council.
The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and LGBT-allied businesses, corporations and professionals throughout the state of Wisconsin. It offers networking opportunities, business development efforts within the LGBT community, and educational programming to its members. The organization has more than 650 members from around the state. In 2015, the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce received the National Chamber of the Year Award from the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).
