MADISON – The following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair, Martha Laning, on the passing of former State Representative Tamara Grigsby:

“My thoughts and prayers are with Rep. Tamara Grigsby’s family during this difficult time. Tamara was an outstanding public servant who always put her constituents first. But above all, she was a community leader who worked tirelessly to achieve fairness and equality for marginalized communities. She will be missed, but her legacy will forever be honored by the work of her colleagues and friends.”
