The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) is seeking input from the community about walking in Milwaukee for the City’s first Pedestrian Plan.

The survey deadline has been extended to Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

The Milwaukee Pedestrian Plan is being developed by DPW in partnership with Toole Design Group and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The overall goal is to make getting around the city safer, easier, and more comfortable for pedestrians. Our team is currently studying pedestrian crashes, driving and walking behaviors, and City policies for improving safety and accessibility for pedestrians. Based on the feedback from the community and the results of the studies, the Milwaukee Pedestrian Plan will include recommendations to make Milwaukee more pedestrian-friendly.

DPW wants to hear from you: What do you think about walking in Milwaukee? Take the online survey in English (https://tinyurl.com/MKE-Ped-Plan) or Español: (https://tinyurl.com/MKE-Ped-Plan-ESP). Please share these links with friends, family, and coworkers.
