David Crowley Slams Maga Extremist Tom Tiffany for Voting to Give Nearly $70 Billion in Tax Breaks for Data Center Operators, Not Working Families

While David Crowley has spent his time in office investing in his community, the only people MAGA Extremist Congressman Tom Tiffany has been helping are the billionaire tech giants he gave nearly $70 billion in tax breaks to with his vote for the Big Ugly Bill.

“One of MAGA extremist Tom Tiffany’s worst votes in Congress was for the Big Ugly Bill, where he signed over $70 billion in tax handouts to the same companies now steamrolling over our local communities with data centers,” said Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Crowley. “But that’s not all. Tom Tiffany betrayed working Wisconsinites with that same vote when he slashed nearly a trillion dollars from Medicaid and made record cuts to SNAP—taking away health care and food assistance from children, veterans, and the elderly. Congressman Tiffany has spent nearly 20 years in politics destroying Wisconsin families, and that ends when I defeat him in November.”

This is not the only time MAGA Congressman Tom Tiffany has sided with big tech over Wisconsin workers, families, and farmers. He cast the deciding vote for a 10 year moratorium on AI regulation that banned states from regulating data centers, and then voted to fast track the building of those very same data centers with little state oversight. Tiffany also supported measures allowing these AI enthusiasts to run wild in our state and burn more coal instead of using clean and renewable energy. It’s clear he’d sell us out as governor.

While working families are struggling to pay for groceries, housing, and childcare, Congressman Tiffany is lining the pockets of big tech executives and giving them more money and power to build data centers across Wisconsin.
