Crowley Fundraising Surges to Over $775,000 Raised Since Re-Entering Race

Crowley campaign is the only one with resources to compete with the RGA spending to meddle in Democratic primary

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Today, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, candidate for Governor of Wisconsin, announced that his campaign has raised over $775,000 since re-entering the race for Governor.

The Crowley campaign is the only one that has the resources to compete with the biggest spender so far in the Democratic primary – the Republican Governors Association – which is trying to trick Democrats into voting for Hong because she is their preferred candidate to run against.

“This kind of support in such a short window tells me Wisconsin Democrats want a nominee with a record of delivering results, not just talking about them,” said Crowley. “People from communities across our state are joining this campaign because they know what’s at stake in November. We need a governor who can win, govern from day one, and fight for working families. That’s the campaign we’re building, and this momentum is only growing.”

The fundraising surge adds to the growing momentum behind Crowley’s campaign following endorsements from Gov. Tony Evers, labor unions, and mayors and local elected officials from across the state.

David Crowley is the Milwaukee County Executive and the first African American and youngest person elected to that office. Raised in Milwaukee in a union household, he has balanced billion dollar budgets, delivered the largest property tax cut in county history, added over 1,000 units of affordable housing in 6 years, including suburban communities for the first time, and cut opioid deaths in half. He has won every race for the Legislature and County Executive.

The Democratic primary is August 11, 2026. For more information about Crowley and his campaign, visit crowleyforwi.com.
