On Wednesday, August 20, parts of N. Prospect Ave. and N. Farwell Ave. will be repaved as part of the city’s “High Impact” paving program. The work will take place over the course of four days, weather-depending.

This project will build on the success of similar work this summer that addresses problem streets while minimizing the duration of the work and disruption. Humboldt Blvd., Brady St. and Holton St. have also undergone “High Impact” paving work this summer, with overwhelmingly positive feedback.

The work beginning on Wednesday will occur on N. Prospect Ave. from E. Kilbourn Ave. to E. Ogden St., and on N. Farwell Ave. from E. Brady St. to N. Prospect Ave. Crews will maintain one open lane of traffic throughout the duration of the project, and access to driveways will be maintained at all times. Parking will not be permitted within the construction project limits.
