Congressman Fitzgerald Recommended to Return to House Judiciary Committee
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) has been recommended by his peers to continue serving on the House Judiciary Committee. The Judiciary Committee has jurisdiction over matters relating to intellectual property, the administration of justice in federal courts, administrative bodies, and law enforcement agencies. Following his appointment, Congressman Fitzgerald released the following statement:

The committee plays an important role in protecting civil liberties and conducting vigorous oversight, said Congressman Scott Fitzgerald.
