Cocoa with the Clauses returns to Cathedral Square Park on Saturday, Dec. 14

A free afternoon filled with outdoor winter fun and sweet treats for the whole family

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (December 9, 2019) – The Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival is rolling out the red carpet. Straight from the North Pole, Santa and Mrs. Claus will return to Cathedral Square Park, as part of the annual cocoa celebration, Cocoa with the Clauses presented by Madison Medial Affiliates on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fun for all ages, the free outdoor event will give families a chance to snap photos, share wish lists, chat with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and interact with other holiday characters. Plus, free hot cocoa, cookies, freshly popped popcorn courtesy of Ideal Property Management, festive goodies provided by Madison Medical Affiliates, upbeat holiday tunes spun by DJ Goose and face painting will round out this festive afternoon. Holiday cookies will also be available for decorating while supplies last.

After visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, families are invited to enjoy lunch downtown. Several neighboring restaurants will offer meal deals for families from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Plus, throughout the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival, families can view all the decorated scenes aboard the Jingle Bus. The 40-minute narrated tour is a no-fuss way to see the magic of downtown, and best of all, rides are only $2 per person. Tours depart from The Avenue, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave., Thursdays through Sundays, from 6 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. until Dec. 29.
