West Bend, Wis. (June 20, 2022):  On June 6, the City of West Bend Common Council appointed G. Lizbet Santana as City Clerk. Today was her first day at City Hall. Lizbet joins the department head team from the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) where she most-recently served as election specialist.

“At WEC, I provided election law training and technical assistance to municipal clerks, county clerks, and local election inspectors that conduct elections,” said Lizbet. “I am excited to be at the City of West Bend and look forward to serving the community!”

Lizbet served as a team leader of Badger Voters and was part of the Badger Book Team. She was previously the administration services specialist for the Village of Hales Corners. Lizbet is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Illinois. She has a Bachelor of Arts in educational studies from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City.

“We are pleased to welcome Lizbet as City Clerk,” said Mayor Christophe E. Jenkins. “Her experience with WEC and passion for local government will be of great value to the City of West Bend.”
