Christmas-y Bar Popping-Up on The East Side when Buddy the Elf Takes Over Splash Studio

Don’t be a Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins! Be there or be square when Buddy the Elf takes over Milwaukee’s Splash Studio this holiday season.  

Elf Studio is Milwaukee’s newest holiday pop-up bar, located on the East Side and operated by Milwaukee activity bar company, Bars & Recreation. Elf Studio will be overflowing with photo ops, Elf-themed cocktails and snacks, special events, festive projects, and over-the-top decorations in Buddy’s signature style.

The specialty menu will include cocktails such as He’s an Angry Elf, World’s Best Coffee, and Beer & a Buddy specials. Festive snacks will feature Son of a Nutcracker Nuts, Pop Tart Pastries, and Buddy’s Breakfast Cake by local baker The Cake Lady. Shots with Buddy will be served every Friday and Saturday night at 10:30pm.

Within Elf Studio, Santa’s Workshop will offer a menu of Elf and Christmas-themed projects for kids and adults. Donning elf hats, participants can make a gift or holiday decorations including a Buddy the Elf wreath, cheeky cross-stitch projects, and Splash Studio’s signature canvas and wood sign projects.

Special events throughout the month will include a “Beef & Cheese After Party” during the Santa Rampage on December 7, and “Spread Christmas Cheer for All to Hear” Sing-Along Fundraiser with First Stage Children’s Theater on Saturday, December 14.

Elf Studio will open Friday, November 29 and run until Sunday, December 29. Hours will be Wednesdays & Thursdays 4:00pm-11:00pm, Fridays 4:00pm-Midnight, Saturdays Noon-Midnight, and Sundays 12:00pm-4:00pm (with extended hours on Sunday, December 22 and Monday, December 23). Reservations are not available, but guests may call ahead to be put on the waitlist for a project space. Children are welcome with a parent or guardian at all times except Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm, when only ages 16 and older are welcome. Elf Studio will be available for a limited number of private events.
