Celebrate the inaugural Asian Restaurant Week with local cuisine

Statement of Common Council President Cavalier Johnson May 18, 2021

By - May 18th, 2021 04:46 pm

May 16-22 is Milwaukee’s first ever Asian Restaurant Week, hosted by ElevAsian. This inaugural event, that occurs during Asian American Pacific Islander heritage month, is a fantastic avenue to showcase the top notch offerings that exist right here in our city.

Our Asian American and Pacific Islander residents contribute immensely to the culture of our community, and for those who are less familiar, sampling a variety of Chinese, Hmong, Indian, Japanese, Korea, Laotian and Thai cuisines is a great way to get acquainted.

I want to thank ElevAsian for all their hard work in organizing this event, and would encourage residents citywide to take part in the event. For more info and a full list of participating venues, please visit
