CBS 58 Announces Weekend Morning News Expansion And Adds Anchor/Reporter Melissa Zygowicz

8/16/21- Milwaukee – Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s CBS 58, WDJT-TV, Your Hometown Station, continues to strengthen its commitment to viewers by expanding the CBS 58 Morning News to weekends.  Beginning Saturday, September 18, the CBS 58 Morning News will add an additional hour every Saturday and Sunday morning, from 6 a.m. – 7 a.m.

Anchoring the new hour of live news will be Melissa Zygowicz, who comes to Milwaukee from THV11 in Little Rock, Arkansas where she anchored weekend news.

You will also see Melissa on the CBS 58 News during the week as a reporter.  She is a University of Missouri grad and native of the Chicago area.  She’s very excited to launch weekend morning news at CBS 58 and tell stories that people care about in Southeast Wisconsin.

“I’m excited to be a part of a great team at CBS 58 and to have the opportunity to wake up with viewers on the CBS 58 Weekend Morning News,” said Melissa.

“This expansion gives Southeast Wisconsin viewers the chance to get the hometown news and weather they need first thing in the morning every Saturday and Sunday. Melissa is a great addition to our news team and will be a valuable asset in our newsroom,” said Kent Harrell, News Director at CBS 58.

CBS 58 is seen on Channel 58, Spectrum/Time Warner Channel 1005, Spectrum/Charter 605, DirecTV 58, Dish Network 58, U-Verse 1005.  WMLW is seen on Channel 49, Spectrum/Time Warner 1007, Spectrum/Charter 608, DirecTV 49, Dish Network 49, U-Verse 1007.
