Brewers Wives to Hold Online Basket Auction
Baskets Will Feature Favorite Items of Brewers Players
MILWAUKEE – The Brewers Wives are excited to announce an online auction featuring baskets filled with favorite items of Milwaukee Brewers players.
Fans can bid on baskets in an online-only auction from Friday, June 25 through Wednesday, June 30. Created by Brewers players’ wives, each basket contains at least one autographed item from their husband.
Another basket up for grabs was put together by Kolten Wong to give fans a taste of his home state of Hawaii. Inside the basket are several Kings Hawaiian items, a case of Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic water, Big Island Candies, Hawaiian Isles Kona Coffee, other unique items from Hawaii and an autographed jersey and bat.
All proceeds will benefit Brewers Community Foundation (BCF), which is the charitable arm of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. BCF harnesses the pride, passion and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other supporters to positively impact the lives of children and their families in the Greater Milwaukee area and throughout Wisconsin.
Over the past decade, BCF has provided more than 2,000 grants totaling in excess of $19 million to nonprofit organizations across Wisconsin that support programs focused on its four areas of concentration: health, education, recreation and basic needs. Approximately 200 nonprofit organizations receive funding annually through the Foundation’s initiatives. In addition to the fans’ support of the Foundation, all uniformed players, their families, team executives and front office staff contribute their time and/or financial resources to BCF.
Visit brewers.com/BCF to learn about ways you can join the team that goes to bat for those in need.
