Brewers Sign Infielder Trey Ebel

Milwaukee Agrees to Terms With No. 25 Overall Selection From 2026 MLB Draft

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to terms with Corona High School (CA) infielder Trey Ebel, the No. 25 overall selection in the 2026 MLB Draft. The signing was announced by Vice President of Amateur Acquisition Tod Johnson.

Ebel, 17, is the brother of Brewers prospect Brady Ebel, who was selected No. 32 overall by Milwaukee in the 2025 MLB Draft. He is the son of Los Angeles Dodgers third-base coach Dino Ebel.

Ebel batted .417/.496/.796 (45-for-108) with 10 doubles, 2 triples, 9 HR, 47 RBI, 37 runs in 31 games as a senior at Corona High School in 2026. Prior to signing with the Brewers, Ebel was committed to Texas A&M University.

Ebel will take batting practice with the Brewers prior to tonight’s game against the Miami Marlins at American Family Field.
