Brewers Name Mike Brockman, VP – Facilities and Projects and Tom Hecht, VP – Consumer Experience
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers today announced a pair of executive appointments with Mike Brockman named vice president – facilities and projects and Tom Hecht moving into the role of vice president – consumer experience. The announcement was made by Brewers President – Business Operations Rick Schlesinger.
Brockman enters his fourth season with the Brewers with more than two decades of total experience in facility management. Prior to joining the Brewers, Brockman spent 17 years as a project manager with The Sigma Group, assigned to the Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District with job duties including supervising the ballpark’s roof maintenance and operation. He also worked with The Sigma Group as a subcontractor during the construction of then-Miller Park. Brockman leads the back of house efforts at American Family Field, managing all aspects of building maintenance, including the club’s service agreement with Johnson Controls and other vendors. In his new role, he will also oversee all building repair and maintenance projects, capital improvement projects and roof operations. Most recently, Brockman served in the role of Senior Director – Facility Services for the Brewers.
A 17-year veteran of the Milwaukee Brewers, Hecht has extensive experience in managing relationships with major corporate supporters, including MolsonCoors, and has expanded the Club’s commitments with key partners such as the recently announced Potawatomi agreement. Hecht will transition to vice president – consumer experience, from his previous Brewers role as vice president – partnership sales. In his new position, Hecht will oversee the entertainment department, Brewers retail operation and the team’s relationship with Delaware North, the official foodservice partner at American Family Field. Prior to joining the Brewers, Hecht was with the NBA’s Phoenix Suns for nine seasons. His experience in sponsorship activations have played a significant role to date in building the entertainment experience for fans attending games at American Family Field.“With Mike and Tom, we are very fortunate to have talented individuals take on these important leadership roles for our organization,” said Brewers President – Business Operations Rick Schlesinger. “We place the highest priority on creating a best-in-class environment for the fans, and these two positions are critical to that process.
