Brewers Launch Unidos Por Venezuela July 21
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers and Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) will host “Unidos por Venezuela” on Tuesday, July 21 when the Brewers take on the New York Mets at American Family Field, providing fans multiple opportunities to support humanitarian and disaster relief efforts in Venezuela.
The Tuesday, July 21 “Unidos por Venezuela” game builds on relief efforts launched by Brewers players and Venezuelan natives Jackson Chourio and William Contreras, who partnered with Forward Latino, community organizations and local leaders to raise awareness and collect emergency supplies following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. The initiative generated strong support from Brewers fans, teammates and community members, resulting in the collection of food, water, hygiene products and other critical relief supplies for those impacted by the disaster.
Fans attending the July 21 game can support Venezuelan relief operations by:
- Purchasing a special $20 “Unidos por Venezuela” ticket, with all ticket proceeds benefiting Venezuelan relief efforts.
- With this special ticket, fans receive an exclusive “Unidos por Venezuela” t-shirt to show their support.
- The proceeds from the 50/50 raffle on July 21 will be donated to Forward Latino, to aid in their efforts to deliver support to those impacted by the devastating earthquakes.
- Fans at home can support through making a direct donation to We Love Foundation at www.welove.foundation, which will contribute additional funds to support relief and recovery efforts.
