Brewers Launch Superfan Spotlight; Hometown Champions Award Returns

Fan Favorite Programs Recognize Brewers Superfans and Wisconsin’s First Responders State-Wide; Nominations Open Now

By - Feb 26th, 2024 11:46 am

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers today launched the Brewers Superfan Spotlight, a recognition program to honor and celebrate the Brewers most passionate and dedicated fans. In addition, the Hometown Champions Award returns for its second year, honoring Wisconsin’s first responders for their courage and commitment to our community. Nominations are open now.

The Brewers Superfan Spotlight serves as a meaningful way for the Brew Crew to express gratitude to the core of their success – the passionate and dedicated fans who bring the energy to American Family Field every game. The Brewers are looking for those who demonstrate passionate fandom, positive team spirit, creative displays of support, community engagement and social media presence. Fans can nominate their favorite Superfan at brewers.com/Superfan.

Returning for 2024, the Hometown Champions Award honors Wisconsin’s first responders. The Brewers recognize the courage, commitment and sacrifices of the men and women in fire rescue service, law enforcement, emergency medical services and first responder roles across Wisconsin. These selfless heroes protect and serve communities every day and risk their lives to do so. Nominations are open now at brewers.com/Hometown.

Both programs will select an honoree monthly, April through September 2024, through a nomination process open to all Wisconsin residents. Honorees will receive four tickets to a Brewers game where they will be recognized on-field to throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Superfan honorees will also receive a personalized Brewers jersey and recognition on the Brewers social media channels, while Hometown Champion honorees will receive an honorary award celebrating their service.

Single-game tickets are on sale now at brewers.com, 1-800-933-7890, as well as at the American Family Field Ticket Office.
