MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers and Brewers Families are proud to present the inaugural Brewers Pawgeant on Saturday, September 7 from 9 a.m. to Noon at Helfaer Field with special guest judges Christian Yelich, Trevor Megill and Joey Ortiz crowning the Brewers Hottest Dog. Fans are encouraged to enter their furry friends to compete in a new canine competition, where all proceeds will benefit the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Pups will compete in two categories before the panel of judges. The ‘Pose or Trick’ category will be scored based on conformation or overall appearance, temperament, structure and complexity of the trick performed. The ‘Costume’ category will be scored based on originality, creativity, showmanship, cuteness factor and overall memorable impression. The scores of each category will be added together to create the canine’s final score.

The Pawgeant participation fee is $75 for the dog and handler. Fans are encouraged to attend as spectators free of charge.

The three top placing dogs will receive:

  • 1st Place: Hottest Dog Trophy, two Field Level tickets for a Brewers home game during the 2025 regular season, a Brewers jersey for the dog and their handler and a doggie gift basket
  • 2nd Place: Medal, Brewers blanket and a doggie treat basket
  • 3rd Place: Certificate, Brewers doggie bowl and a pet store gift card

All proceeds will benefit the Wisconsin Humane Society, a nonprofit organization that works to make a difference for animals through adoption and foster programs, affordable vaccinations and medical services, rehabilitation and more.

Pups can be entered here. Sign-ups will be open until Friday, September 6 or when all spots are filled.
