MILWAUKEE –The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors will hold its official public hearing on the 2021 County budget on Friday, October 30, at 4:00 p.m.

In the interest of public health, this year’s hearing will be held online.

The public is encouraged to register in advance at Milwaukee.gov/CountyBoard if they want to speak during the public hearing.

Public comment is limited to 2 minutes per person.

The annual budget hearing is an opportunity for the public to speak to any provisions of the Recommended Budget or the proposed amendments that the Finance Committee has already considered.

Supervisors will consider final amendments to the County Executive’s budget on November 4.

County Executive David Crowley introduced his budget proposal, known as the Recommended Budget, on October 1.

The Comptroller’s “Overview,” an independent analysis and summary of the Executive’s Recommended Budget, can be found here.

The Board of Supervisors will adopt a final version of the County budget on November 9. If there are any vetoes by the County Executive, the Board would reconvene on November 16.
